This is my stage.

Be yourself.  If you are wearing a mask, you need to realize you can’t always keep the deception up.  The real you eventually reveals yourself to those close to you.  This will usually cause issues, as they liked/knew the fake you.  And often, they will depart.  So just be you.  It’s easier and there is nothing for others to discover except the journey of further discovering the real you. You don’t have to lie, you don’t have to pretend, you don’t have to fake, you just have to be.   And if they love you for the real you, what better than that? ~ Paperbackreiter
